Code of Ethics
BrowserSolver provides HTTP scrape modes (Crawler, Rendering, Screenshot, Unlock, AntiBot, Technology). This Code sets integrity and compliance standards for the company, employees, and contractors of WEBAPI GROUP SAS.
1. Our values
This Code of Ethics applies to directors, officers, employees, and contractors of BrowserSolver (WEBAPI GROUP SAS), regardless of role or contract type. Our core values are transparency, security, quality, fairness, and social responsibility. They guide how we build and operate HTTP scrape APIs, managed rendering and unlock infrastructure, and customer relationships. We conduct business in compliance with applicable laws, our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and internal policies. We support responsible data extraction on the open internet while rejecting practices that harm individuals, communities, or the integrity of digital ecosystems.
2. Respect, diversity, and human rights
We treat colleagues, customers, partners, and the public with dignity and respect. BrowserSolver does not tolerate discrimination, harassment, violence, or bullying in the workplace or in professional interactions. We promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring, teamwork, and leadership. We respect internationally recognized human rights and expect the same from our partners and suppliers.
3. Labor practices
We oppose forced, compulsory, and child labor. We comply with applicable labor laws and provide equal opportunities, fair remuneration, and a healthy, safe working environment. Employees receive the training and resources needed to perform their work safely and responsibly, including on data protection, security, and acceptable use of our platform.
4. Responsible business conduct and transparency
We engage with customers and communities responsibly and choose partners who operate ethically and lawfully. We do not engage in anti-competitive agreements or corrupt practices, including bribery, trading in influence, or improper gifts. Business hospitality and gifts must be reasonable, transparent, and aligned with our internal policies. We avoid arrangements that could facilitate money laundering, fraud, or violations of economic sanctions. Employees must disclose potential conflicts of interest promptly.
5. Ethical scrape and data practices
Our Services help customers fetch and structure publicly available web content through documented HTTP modes. We promote lawful, proportionate, and purpose-driven use. Customers remain responsible for how they use our APIs and outputs, including compliance with applicable laws, website terms, intellectual property rights, and privacy obligations. We provide mode documentation and support to help customers choose Crawler, Rendering, or Unlock responsibly, and we reserve the right to restrict accounts engaged in clearly abusive or unlawful activity. We design our Services for legitimate extraction jobs such as catalog monitoring, availability checks, and research pipelines, not to enable credential theft, personal harassment, spam, malware distribution, or unauthorized access to protected systems.
6. Infrastructure, routing, and fair dealing
Where we operate or procure datacenter, routing, or egress capacity used by scrape and unlock modes, we seek transparent and lawful sourcing practices. We do not seek competitive advantage through illegal, deceptive, or unethical business practices. We deal fairly with customers, suppliers, and competitors, and we do not misrepresent mode capabilities, credit pricing, or success rates. We protect BrowserSolver property, including software, know-how, customer information, and brand assets, and use company resources for legitimate business purposes.
7. Client centricity and service quality
We aim to deliver reliable, secure HTTP scrape APIs with clear mode docs. Customer feedback informs product, support, and policy decisions. We communicate honestly about mode limits, credit weights, acceptable use, and known constraints. We foster long-term relationships built on trust, clear documentation, and responsive support at [email protected].
8. Data protection and privacy
We adhere to applicable privacy laws, including GDPR and other relevant regulations, and maintain policies aligned with industry best practices. We collect only the personal data necessary to operate our Services, process it transparently and securely, and provide appropriate safeguards against unauthorized access or misuse. See our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement for details on how we handle personal information.
9. Environmental responsibility
We strive to reduce the environmental footprint of our operations, including efficient use of compute and network resources in our datacenter and cloud infrastructure. We encourage continuous improvement in energy efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainable procurement where practical.
10. Reporting concerns
Employees, contractors, customers, and partners who observe conduct that may violate this Code should report it promptly to [email protected] or through our contact form at /contact. BrowserSolver prohibits retaliation against anyone who reports concerns in good faith. We investigate reports seriously and take corrective action when appropriate.
