Data Processing Agreement
How BrowserSolver handles personal data when acting as a processor for customers on the web scraping API platform.
Scope and roles
BrowserSolver provides a web scraping API. When you send URLs, job parameters, or account data through our API or dashboard, we act as a processor on your behalf. You remain the controller for lawful basis, purpose, and retention of the data you collect.
Categories of data processed
Typical categories include account and billing records, request metadata (URLs, parameters, timestamps), public web content returned to you, support messages, and operational logs used for security, billing, and reliability.
Purpose of processing
Processing supports service delivery only: executing requests, returning structured results, preventing abuse, metering usage for billing, handling support tickets, and meeting legal obligations.
Sub-processors and infrastructure
Hosting, monitoring, payments, and email run through vetted providers under GDPR Article 28-style obligations. The current sub-processor list lives at /subprocessors. Questions: [email protected].
Security measures
Controls include TLS in transit, dashboard credential auth, access restrictions, rate limits, and periodic security review. See the Privacy Policy for how personal information is protected.
Retention and deletion
Logs and account records are kept only as long as needed for operations, billing, security, and compliance. Request account deletion via [email protected]. Payloads returned through the API sit under your control once delivered.
International transfers
Transfers outside the EEA or UK use appropriate safeguards (for example Standard Contractual Clauses) where required by law.
Your rights and contact
